Coconut Black, Sustainably Sourced Loose Black Tea

This house ADORES coconut black and White Heron is the best we've had (and we've tried a LOT). The steep time is important on black teas, they become bitter if steeped too long. So try the recommended 4 minutes or a bit less. I generally steep 2-3 minutes on this one for a perfect smooth creamy cup of tea. The coconut flakes are wonderful and add a rich buttery mouthfeel to the cup. Some other companies don't add real coconut to their tea and it really does make a difference. This is amazing as a hot tea and delightful when brewed strongly (use more tea, not a longer steep) for an iced tea. Drink alone or with a splash of the milk of your choice, we find we never need sweetener for this one. It's utter perfection on its own!

Did not like the combination of coconut with black tea…did not suit my palate. Good try, though.
